Little Bit

Chardonnay

Among the oldest Chardonnay plantings on the estate, this vineyard is planted to California Heritage Old Wente selections whose lineage traces back to the original Chardonnay cuttings brought to California in the late 1800s. The site forms the foundation of the Hudson Chardonnay style, producing a wine that is elegant and complete, with depth, precision, and a strong sense of place that reflects both Carneros and the enduring character of Hudson. The vineyard is named for the Hudsons’ granddaughter, Elizabeth Marley Hudson, affectionately known as Little Bit.
